Games of Chance
I mentioned a couple of posts ago that I would chime in with my political thoughts of the moment. I was just thinking this morning that it’s too bad that all elections are a gamble. I mean, look at Spitzer in New York. He was kickass as the AG, but as soon as he was governor, it turns into the same old shit as always. It just sucks that you basically have to foretell the future to get a good result out of your vote; whoever gets elected as president doesn’t necessarily have to be the same person as they are now in a year.
Having said all that, I really like what I’m hearing about Obama. (Other than the lady at work who calls him Orocka, because that just pisses me off.)  XKCD summed it up pretty good, so I’ll defer to that for most of my reasons. Because I’m registered Republican, I can’t vote in the Dem primaries. But dammit, he better beat horseface. And once that happens, I’ll be voting for him in the national election.
Oh, my hand is definitely all sore and stiff this morning (take all the innuendo you want from that statement). And my pinky is all swollen for some reason.
