Fitness Reboot

At some point, I stopped eating well and exercising, which had been going super well for a while.  I’m not sure when I stopped doing well, but it’s time for me to pick it up again.  My guess is it’s because of the freaking weather.  It’s so blooming hot outside – I have an hour for lunch, so I had been walking about 2 miles every day at lunch.  Now that it’s 80 degrees or higher outside, I can’t do that anymore – I sweat, and I don’t want to go back to work smelling like sweat.

This is all leading up to the fact that I need to start walking every night again, along with eating better.  I also need to start tracking what I eat again.  I had been using Fitday, but that became somewhat of a hassle for me (or I was just looking for an excuse to stop).  I got a new program called Health & Diet Manager for my phone, which will help me keep track of my calorie intake again.  Hopefully that will help.

I think what will help me the best is getting back on a schedule, and sticking to it.  I need to put walking on a schedule for every night and make sure I don’t skip, along with my weightlifting and the One Hundred Pushups challenge.  That will hopefully get me back in the habit.
