Failure of Ambition
I feel somewhat obligated to write something. I only got one thing accomplished this weekend that I had planned to do, and I wasted the rest of the time. Tonight I mostly wasted it moping and watching V for Vendetta since it was on TV. I’m really having a hard time getting myself to do anything at all lately – though I managed to do something mildly insane to point out my insecurities to one of my friends. Hopefully this week I can implement a schedule that I’ve been working on. It’s not much of a hard-line schedule, mostly just a "I should spend x number of hours doing this" sort of thing. In theory this will allow me to do more writing and get more exercise in. Who knows.
So, crossing my fingers that the wind doesn’t take my power down, since I finally got my server back up and running, plus I need the power on to be able to get ready for work tomorrow and all.
More writing to come tomorrow, I promise. And maybe pictures of my new desk and work area, if I can clean up the crap around it so that it doesn’t look terrible.
Oh, and getting all four seasons of Futurama and the two movies in the mail hasn’t helped my productivity at all.
